Michael Bostick, Kysela Pere et Fils Grace Town Chardonnay 2020, Margaret River, Australia
100% Chardonnay
The palate is delightfully complex, yet soft, with excellent fruit intensity,
gingerbread, and spice from the French oak. Ripe white nectarine and melon characters
are paired with a fresh grapefruit acidity. All these flavor components will further develop,
with some cellaring, to create a palate that is textural, ripe, and lingering. A portion of the wine is
aged in new and used French oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation was partially done.
Wine was slightly filtered before bottling. Pair with salads, chicken, corn and crab chowder, light fare.

80% Grenache, 10% Carignan, 10% Cinsault
A pale pink color names this lively and refreshing vin-gris, with raspberry and
cherry aromas with floral nuances. Medium-bodied with juicy acidity and lingering finish.
Smooth and refreshing. Great when paired with seafood, salads, Asian-Thai cuisine, grilled fish,
and tajines.
The Washington Post: “From early indications, 2020 was a very good year for French rose.
This fine example from Castelmaure zings with fresh acidity and bright fruit flavors,
accented by a whiff of wild herbs. It’s a recent arrival to the market.”

60% Merlot, 35% Corvina, 5% Negroamaro
Aged in oak 3 to 4 months
Intense purple color. The oak aging gives pleasant notes of spices and vanilla.
A very solid structure due to the elevated alcohol and the balance between soft tannins and acidity. The skins
are left in the must for a long period to extract flavors and the characteristic ruby red color.
Great with roasted and grilled meats. Ideal with game dishes and excellent with mature hard cheeses.

This Cabernet Franc is perfumed, showing juicy red and black fruit and spices.
The soft tannins lend structure and create a delightfully fruity red wine.

100% Cabernet Franc
Expressive and ripe nose, juicy texture and intense fruit. Excellent balance, well integrated
tannins, and stunning minerality. Aged 6 months in French oak. Slightly filtered before bottling.
Chakana is the name of the Southern Cross constellation. Its rotation throughout
the year made it an effective agricultural calendar for the ancient Andean people.
